This poolside retreat provides the perfect lunchtime sanctuary for guests to relax and recharge between safari adventures. The extensive menu focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, supporting regional farmers while delivering a flavorsome dining experience by the water’s edge.

Agama Terrace Bar

Agama, meaning “stop” in Swahili, is the lodge’s premier social haven perched on the top deck for unrivaled views of the Serengeti’s western corridor. With its high ceilings and sophisticated designer furnishings, the bar offers an elegant open-air ambiance for pre-dinner cocktails or a quiet nightcap under the stars. Our skilled mixologists craft a diverse array of signature drinks and fine spirits, providing a creative and refined space to unwind after a day in the wild.

Kahawa Coffee Bar

Located in the reception area, Kahawa is a convenient “grab and go” coffee shop that pays homage to Tanzania’s legendary coffee heritage. Serving freshly ground, locally sourced Arabica brews and premium teas, it provides the essential energy boost for early morning departures. Paired with a selection of freshly baked pastries, Kahawa offers a quick and flavorful transition from the comforts of the lodge to the morning’s first safari thrill.

Sustainability & Conservation

Our sustainability framework is built upon circular resource management, featuring rainwater harvesting and a zero-tolerance policy on single-use plastics. We rigorously sort all waste at the source, with glass being repurposed through Shanga, our in-house social enterprise. As signatories of the Glasgow Declaration and certified by Responsible Tourism Tanzania, we actively monitor our carbon footprint. Supported by the Land & Life Foundation, our regular environmental audits ensure we remain aligned with global best practices and our commitment to achieving net-zero emissions.

Beyond our ecological efforts, we are dedicated to protecting the Serengeti through our support of the Kuru Dogs canine units. By refurbishing their strategic unit at Fort Ikoma, we have bolstered the reach of these specialist teams in their mission to combat wildlife crime and remove snares throughout the western corridor. This vital collaboration with TANAPA and the Land & Life Foundation ensures the security of the park’s biodiversity, providing an essential line of defence for the black rhino population and the world's most iconic protected wilderness.
